Role Overview: The GIABSec® is a 4-hour intensive course that builds upon the GIABA® certification. It prepares participants to support the Chair by managing meetings, agendas, and ensuring compliance and governance. This role also involves team leadership, overseeing the onboarding and offboarding of advisors, and acting as the second-in-command (2IC) to the Chair. Additionally, the GIABSec® serves as a Chair-in-training, preparing to take on leadership responsibilities in the future. As GRAB-certified professionals, participants are equipped to contribute to the governance and operational effectiveness of advisory boards, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
